Here is our new collection of cardboard packages. They not only present our rice in the best possible way, but also stand out with their functionality and storage convenience. Rice is packaged into 2x 500g vacuum packs using the advanced technology of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). Here is why we prefer it:

Black rice is gaining popularity faster and faster. Apart from being very healthy, it is also a valuable contributor in the more exquisite dishes, pleasing the eye and touching the soul of connoisseurs of good cuisine. Gioiello (“gemstone” from Italian) is:

an ideal choice for salads, side dishes and gourmet dishes.

The new “Baldo” box contains a larger variety of rice grains, preferred in Bulgaria, which is ideal for preparing our traditional dishes and desserts. With its large transparent white grains, this rice does not go unnoticed when served on the table. Baldo is ideal for desserts, side dishes, main dishes from different cuisines. When you are not sure what kind of rice to use for a specific dish, it is the best choice.

Karbor is a new variety of rice that is especially suitable for making risotto. Whether you choose a simpler Italian recipe or a multi-component gourmet dish, Karbor is always a good helper in the kitchen.

New and relatively unknown for the Bulgarian market is the round grain rice in our Sushi box. This is a specially selected variety, its grains retain integrity, stick together well and thus facilitate the preparation not only of the typical sushi forms, but also of various other fillings. It is suitable for:

sushi and paella
traditional sarmi (stuffed cabbage leaves) , stuffed peppers, lamb and other fillings

Aromatic is our latest addition to our colourful palette of Bulgarian rice. This is a new and specially selected variety, which together with its delicate aroma, is characterized by long pearl grains. It is suitable for:

exotic Asian recipes
side dishes, salads and main courses

Organic – Certified Organic (or Certified Bio) is a recently developed product – a result of several years of diligent efforts in the field of organic farming.

Drying Installations

Aron Rice is the official distributor for Bulgaria of the Taiwanese company producer of Suncue dryers.
They have developed and implemented an extremely cost-effective technology for drying of paddy rice by hot air drying agent derived from burning husks of paddy rice. In Europe, they are used for fuel as well, not independently but with different products and flammable waste in large steam generator plants producing electricity. The hull of paddy rice has high silicon content and therefore is difficult for burning. The Taiwanese technology includes a new design of the combustion chamber and further aerating of the mixture, thus reaching a capacity of 1 million Kcal per hour, burning approximately 400 kg rice husks. All other methods of drying used in Europe require the use of fuel – either gas, diesel, electricity or solid fuel. The technology using rice husks as fuel is reliable, economical and ecological, utilizing a waste product in the processing of paddy rice to white rice.
