Once again this year, Aron Rice took active part in organization conducting of already traditional annual meeting of the bulgarian rice association (BRA). We wish to express our gratitude to the entire team that helped making this event a total success.
The meeting was attended by many rice producers from all areas in Bulgaria. They had the opportunity to get acquainted with new technologies and products that help in growing the best rice – Bulgarian!
Colleagues, we wish to thank you for once again taking your time to honor this important event with your presence.
Ms. Snezhina Dineva, Executive Director of Irrigation Systems EAD, addressed congratulations to the participants and stated the readiness of the company to meet the needs of the sector for a successful irrigation season. Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (MAF), the Executive Agency for Variety Testing, Approbation and Seed Control (IASAS) and the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) also took an active part in the discussions.
Unfortunately, due to the epidemic situation and the situation around Covid-19, our colleagues from Italy had to cancel the planned trips and commitments. We held an online conference with them and virtually discussed all the news and details about the Italian seeds offered this year.
This time the annual meeting was held during the AGRA 2020 fair. Our members had the opportunity to visit and get acquainted with the products and services of many exhibitors in the sector, and personally and in a more extensive format we had the pleasure to listen to presentations of products to support the cultivation of rice by the representatives of Haifa in Bulgaria ContinVest, Kne Sertis who presented their catalog of plant protection products and fertilizers, and BASF who gave a lecture on “Development of partnership and opportunities for plant protection in rice in 2020. “
